About This Site

This site is about ‘Who we are’ and ‘Why we are’…..  This site was created in order to provide visitors and members with an unleashed forum to openly voice opinions – opinions that are currently disallowed on other Social Media platforms.  WARNING: This is a ‘Big Boy’ site and you’ll need to put your ‘Big Boy” pants on in order to participate.

Any ‘Shares’ to any of the many social media sites from these pages will simply produce a ‘Link’ back to this site for anyone to read so nothing is actually being published on their ‘Politically Correct’ social media sites.  Feel free to join if you like. Post and contribute as often or as little as you want.

Lanny, Ronnie, and Bogie served together in the U.S. Navy from 1971-1975 aboard the USS Sailfish (SS-572) an antiquated old Diesel Electric submarine home ported during that time frame in both Pearl Harbor Hawaii and San Diego California.  During that period of time Sailfish made two separate Western Pacific Tours operating in and around,….. above and below the South China Sea between 1972 – 1974.  We visited ports in Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, and China (Hong-Kong).  Although during our 1972-1973 West Pac we were awarded Viet-Nam Service medals, allowed tax free pay and ‘free’ postage during a period of time operating in the Gulf of Tonkin and even had DD-214’s and award documentation in our service folders stating such, shortly after returning stateside, the awards were revoked and all ‘formal’ documentation modified (I still have my old records for proof) meaning that “We were never there”……

During our time together serving aboard Sailfish, we developed a rare sense of humor and a ‘thick skin’ that enabled us to ‘take the pressure’ of pretty much anything thrown our way…..  Thick skin and a sense of humor will go a long way within this community no matter what your religious beliefs, political affiliation, race, sex, or size might be.
