Being retired is a full time job here in Middle Georgia!  Our ranch home sits on our fifteen acre parcel just outside Fort Valley on the Northwestern edge of Peach County Georgia.  Peach County is a small rural county located Southwest of Macon in the heart of Middle Georgia.  The county is mainly agricultural with pecans, peaches, and blueberries being the major crops.  Fort Valley – the county seat – is home to the Blue Bird Bus Corporation.

Life here in the country is peaceful.  The driveway to our home is located at the end of a “Red Dirt Road”, and other than a local delivery from UPS, FedEx, or our rural mail lady, traffic is nonexistent.  Our property is timbered rolling hills that provide excellent habitat for the deer and turkey that are constantly coming through our three food plots.
