Welcome to Bill Lanahan's "Sailfish Home Page". This web site is dedicated to the officers and crew of the USS Sailfish (SS-572), and to the boat itself for allowing me the privilege of serving aboard her.

This site is made up of many pages, all focused around the lives we lived while cramped in a"Fossil Fuelin' Sewer Pipe Smoke-Boat" we called home, yet trusted and depended upon to surface after each dive.
